Abstract

Juanda Airport is one of the busiest international airports in Indonesia, which plays a strategic role in supporting national and international connectivity. One of the main problems in logistics operations at Juanda Airport is the detour route and travel time and congestion between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. So that the operational costs of logistics trucks are increasing. The purpose of this study is to simulate a continuous route between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Juanda Airport. So that the distance traveled, travel time, and operational costs of logistics trucks are more efficient. The method used is to use the vehicle operating cost formula from PCI (Pacific Consultant International). The results obtained are that there is a change in the original distance traveled from 5.3 km to 2.56 km. While the average travel time was originally 11.8 minutes, to 3.84 minutes. The original Vehicle Operating Cost (VOC) of IDR 513,666 / 1000 km became IDR 167,159 / 1000 km. This will clearly be very beneficial in terms of efficiency of distance, travel time, and VOC of logistics truck transportation between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Juanda Airport.
