Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of foreman's commitment and training on increasing awareness and obedience in carrying out construction K3 in the wholesale workforce of the Tarakan City building construction project, North Kalimantan. This study employs a descriptive quantitative analysis. The data analysis utilizes the SEM-PLS quantitative method with SmartPLS3.0 software. The foreman's commitment variable has a significant influence on the obedience to carry out K3 with a coefficient of 0.169 and T-Statistics 2.139, in the training variable on K3 awareness the coefficient is 0.754, T-Statistics 4.472 the awareness variable has a significant influence on K3 obedience with a coefficient value of 0.618, T-Statistics 3.754 training has a insignificant influence on K3 obedience and the foreman's commitment to the awareness of carrying out K3 The conclusion of this study emphasizes that The commitment of the foreman and training has a significant influence on the awareness and obedience of the construction K3. These findings show the importance of k3 training for wholesale workers and the commitment of project foremen to increase awareness and increase compliance with safety for workers
